Mobile Boutiques
Bring the store to your customers
Times are changing, and the way we buy from retail establishments is no exception. In an age of instant gratification, customers are used to getting what they want, when they want it. As online shopping and pop up retail continues to grow, how can retail brick-and-mortar locations compete?
By taking the store on the road in a mobile retail truck or van, of course! Giving customers the option of shopping at a wide variety of events, specific areas of town, or even their own homes is something truly unique- and saught after. Even if the brick-and-mortar location stays intact, mobile boutiques can bring your offerings to a much wider audience.
Custom built solutions

Mobile Boutique Vans
A van offers the ideal balance of mobility, maneuverability, and usable retail space for a custom mobile boutique. Compared to a large box truck or trailer, a van is easier to drive, park, and navigate through busy downtown areas, shopping districts, and event venues. Its enclosed cargo area provides a secure, weather-protected environment for clothing, accessories, and merchandise, while the interior can be customized with shelving, garment racks, display fixtures, lighting, and changing areas. With a lower overall footprint and no separate trailer to tow, a van makes it easier to move between pop-up events, private appointments, markets, and retail destinations. Add custom vehicle wraps to turn the exterior into a mobile advertisement, and your boutique becomes a flexible, self-contained retail space that takes your brand directly to your customers.

Box Truck Boutiques
A box truck offers the space and flexibility to build a full-scale mobile boutique with the feel of a traditional retail store. With a larger, more open cargo area than a standard van, box trucks provide room for extensive clothing racks, custom display fixtures, fitting rooms, checkout counters, and dedicated product areas. The square interior maximizes usable space, making it easier to create distinct shopping zones and accommodate a wider selection of merchandise. A box truck also provides a large exterior canvas for bold custom graphics that showcase your brand wherever you travel. While larger than a van and requiring more consideration for parking and maneuverability, a box truck is an excellent choice for businesses looking to create an immersive, walk-in shopping experience at festivals, markets, private gatherings, pop up retail events and brand activations. With a custom interior build and professional vehicle branding from EVO Upfitting, your box truck becomes a distinctive mobile retail destination built to grow your business.
Custom Van Build Case Study
For this custom mobile boutique build, EVO Upfitting transformed a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter into a fully functional, upscale retail space designed to bring fashion directly to customers. The build features custom cabinetry and display shelving, integrated power for a clothing steamer, a full-length mirror and changing area, and tailored flooring and ceiling lighting to create a polished in-store experience. To complete the transformation, our in-house graphics team added custom branding and perforated window film for privacy without sacrificing natural light. The result is a one-of-a-kind mobile boutique that combines thoughtful design, practical functionality, and a professional retail presentation—all built to take the shopping experience on the road.

Custom Van Shelving
This build called for completely custom shelving and cabinets to highlight the high end clothing for sale.

Custom Partition
Our custom fabricated partition features a full length mirror, allowing the van to function as a changing room.

Floor & Lighting
Custom flooring and ceiling lights finish off the polished look.

Custom Graphics
Our in house graphics division handled the branding- in this case, we used perforated window film for privacy while allowing light into the van.
